HALTON BASEMENT FLOODING PREVENTION SUBSIDY PROGRAM

Many municipalities & regions in Ontario are now offering a subsidy to homeowners to have a sump pump installed and disconnect their weeping tiles/foundation drains from the city/sanitary sewer system in order to prevent it from being overloaded. So if you live in Burlington, Oakville or Milton, you could be eligible for a maximum subsidy of $1,800 for installing a sump pump. The subsidy covers 50% of a plumbing contractor's invoice.
